Details:
* WHAT...Afternoon high temperatures up to 108 expected. Heat Risk
will range from Moderate to possibly Major.

* WHERE...San Joaquin Valley and adjacent foothills.

* WHEN...From noon Saturday until 11 PM PDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and limited overnight relief may cause
heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Afternoon high temperatures up to 108 degrees
will occur from Saturday into Monday. Overnight lows will range
from the upper 60s in some valley locations to the lower 80s in
some of the higher foothills.

Information:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
